Murray is a CA (SA) with extensive experience in B-BBEE compliance, empowerment transactions and business strategy. Over the last 15 years Murray has been instrumental in the start-up and development of 12 companies operating across various industry sectors including B-BBEE verification, corporate advisory services, education and training, water infrastructure and engineering services. Murray serves as the CEO of Signa Group, a majority shareholder in Invequity. In 2016 he co-founded Invequity (Pty) Ltd with the aim to grow a top performing Black Owned Private Equity Fund management company that focuses on investing in high impact, Black empowered companies. Murray provides crucial strategic and business development support to Invequity and serves on the Investment Committee.
