Tumi is a qualified charted accountant and leads Invequity, managing the governance and investment teams.


With over 10 years’ experience working in the FMCG and the finance sectors, Tumi has strong financial sector governance experience and serves on multiple boards.


She strives to enable meaningful opportunities for those who otherwise would not have access to them.

With over 30 years of senior and executive experience, 24 of which have been in various HR leadership roles in South Africa. Tulani offers Invequity invaluable directorship in the form of organisational strategic plans and facilitating the implementation of operational structure and improved HR policy and practice.


She serves on numerous boards and panels and has completed various courses in the fields of Corporate Human Resources and Transformation.


Tulani has a qualification in Education issued by the University of Zimbabwe as well as a diploma in Business Studies – Accounting from the Harare Polytechnical College.

Murray is a CA (SA) with extensive experience in B-BBEE compliance, empowerment transactions and business strategy.


Over the last 15 years Murray has been instrumental in the start-up and development of 12 companies operating across various industry sectors including BEE verification, corporate advisory services, education and training, water infrastructure and engineering services.


In 2015 Murray co- founded Invequity (Pty) Ltd with the aim to grow a top performing Black owned Private Equity Fund management company that focuses on investing in high impact, Black empowered companies .

Suhana is an admitted attorney responsible for the service, operations, risk and compliance, pre- and post-investment governance and support for Invequity. Suhana is a graduate of the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal where she received her Bachelor of Arts and LLB degrees.


Furthermore, she obtained her certifications in Risk & Compliance Management from the University of Johannesburg and the University of Cape Town.


She has been a practicing attorney since 2008 with experience in diverse applications and sectors of the law, operations, risk, governance and compliance management and serves on multiple company boards. She avidly supports women entrepreneurship, inclusive growth, employment and youth development.

BRAD GREEN (Key Individual and Investment Committee Chair)

With an extensive background in Financial Services and strategy, Brad guides the Invequity team by providing fundamental business and investment solutions that best suit the client.


His experience further aids in the investee selection, management and compliance oversight of the equity funds.


Brad graduated from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia where he obtained his MBA specializing in Finance. He is also a certified Key Individual of the Financial Services Board in South Africa.

Geoff Blount has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry and has a wealth of knowledge across all investment classes.


Geoff completed his B. Com Hons at Wits, where he also lectured corporate finance before becoming a portfolio manager at Société Generale Frankel Pollak (later to become Sasfin Securities).


After that, Geoff headed the research team at Investment Solutions, South Africa’s largest multi-manager and part of the Alexander Forbes group, before becoming CEO at Cannon Asset Managers, the deep value asset manager.


More recently Geoff was one of the founding directors of TIP One, a listed fund that is building a portfolio of BEE schemes that are invested into listed companies. Geoff is also a qualified CFA.


FEZILE MAHLANGU (Legal Administrative Officer)

Fezile is an Administrator for Invequity and oversees the admin duties for the company. Further to this, she liaises with the CIPC on behalf of the company.


Fezile has obtained a higher certificate in Economics and Business Management Science with over 5 year’s work experience in corporate fields and that uniquely qualifies her to carry out the administration for the Invequity Team.

ALICE YALUMA (Administrative Coordinator)

Alice is the executive Assistant to the Executives of Invequity with over 8 years in the field. She has extensive experience with all administrative tasks including scheduling and correspondence.


Having held positions in the IT and Finance business fields, Alice is also able to tailor her skills to meet the needs of various clients. She has increased efficiency in several assignment roles. Alice holds a diploma in Human Resources.


Thanks to excellent organisational skills, Alice is instrumental to the daily operations of the business.

DANIELLA GIOIA (Risk Governance & Compliance Officer)

Daniella is the Risk Governance and Compliance Officer at Invequity and is responsible for ensuring compliance across all areas of the company as well as ensuring post-implementation compliance of all private equity funds.


As a graduate of the University of Pretoria, Daniella received her master’s degree and was admitted as an attorney in 2011. She also completed the SAVCA Foundation programme in Private Equity which has helped further the success of Invequity and their clients. Daniella further holds an online short course qualification from the University of Cape Town in Compliance Essentials completed 2 May 2022.


Daniella oversees the compliance matrixes ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, Financial Services Board and other legislation to ensure that deadlines and targets are met timeously.

MEGAN VISSER (Group Legal)

Megan is the head of group legal at Invequity. Megan completed her BCom Law and LLB degrees at the University of Johannesburg in 2009 whereafter she completed her articles and served as a senior associate at a top-tier law firm in Sandton.


Megan has extensive legal experience in commercial, corporate and private equity matters, having assisted with the implementation of numerous structures and mergers and acquisitions for Invequity, its investments and its clients.

ZILETHILE MAHLANGU (Finance & Investment Manager)

Zilethile is the finance associate at Invequity and is responsible for all finance and compliance matters regarding the funds.


As a registered tax practitioner and Associate General Accountant (SA), Zilethile has been instrumental in engagements of clients from different industries and has developed a skill set that includes risk assessment and monitoring of controls in relevant business processes, accounting expertise and project management.

NOMFUSI MASANGWANA (Junior Finance Associate)

Nomfusi is a Junior Finance Associate and is responsible for assisting in all finance and compliance matters regarding the funds. Nomfusi holds a BCom Accounting degree and has more than 3 years’ work experience within her field of study. She understands the intricacies of finance and accounting within her line of work and is responsible for the compilation of reports for the funds
